Making money on the side....good part time jobs...please read?
So, Im 20 years old, and Im a military wife. I really want to do something extra on the side because my husband and I want to have a baby next year. We make enough money now to cover our house payment, car payment, utilites...etc. We have a tiny bit left over a month, but not much. We sacraficed having lots of spending money to buy our home. Anyway, Im thinking of doing one of the home show businesses....like Lia Sophia for example. Im only looking to make around 800 dollars a month maybe? Give or take a little or a little more. I can aim to do around 2-4 shows per week, and I will be home with the baby.
Do you think that this is possible? Any tips or advice? How much on average do you think I can make per show? I know that its hard because every show is different...just looking for an average....thanks!
If you work at this, then you can succeed. Anything is possible, if you do what is needed to succeed. You need to understand, what your venturing in is actually a business that you would run. The success of this business relies solely on you and what you do. No one can say how much on average you would make per show. that depends on a lot of different things, how many people you invite to your shows, how many people attend, how many people buy the products etc. So many different things you need to know and do and keep doing in order for this business to succeed.

I could care less about wearing jewelry. I wear a watch, but only out of necessity. I'm also pretty lousy at buying my wife new jewelry. I think I may have bought her a couple necklaces, a few earrings, and of course wedding rings. Every year I promised myself to buy her more, but it never seemed to fit in our budget.
We have five children and my wife is a schoolteacher so she spent a lot of time at school away from our family. It seemed that there was always something at the school taking away from our family time. She loved her fifth grade students, but really missed spending time with our children while someone else watched over them. She was frequently tired after work and felt guilty missing the kids growing up.
That was over four years ago, before she decided to sell Lia Sophia. Boy has she changed, but not in the ways I expected. I thought she would become this unbearable sales promoter pluggin Lia Sophia to anyone who walked into her 3 foot personal zone. You know the type. Loud and overbearing about why the whole world should join their business and get rich, rich, rich. Yeah, I avoid those people too. I also thought our whole life would revolve around this business. Meetings every night, shelves at home full of product we cannot sell, credit card bills, and no time at all for family. Well that had been my experience with direct marketing companies.
Lia Sophia Is Not Your Normal Direct Marketing Home Business!
My wife's manager surprised us from the very beginning. This woman was not pushy. She was very friendly and wanted to know about me and the kids. She stressed that God and her family are much more important than ANY business. She said that honesty and integrity are so much more important than making a sale. And her lifestyle proved she meant every word of it.
My wife started her business with only $149.00 and earned that money back within the first week of business. In only about 4 months she was earning more than she had been as a schoolteacher. Today she earns more in one week with Lia Sophia than she made in a whole month with school teaching. She works 2 nights a week from around 5pm - 9pm. She also works about 1 hour Mon-Fri around lunchtime. She spends a LOT of time with her family and me! Lia Sophia direct deposits money into our bank account every monday and she has had a deposit made every monday for over four years without a miss. She has NO stock inventory at home to manage.
