Can jade be fixed?
I have a jade pendant and an ivory pendant that have been broken due to long wear. I inherited them from my mother-in-law.
Can jade,ivory or any semiprecious stone be fixed once it has broken? I doubt it but wanted to be sure.
Can they be fixed and if so please let me know where I can go.

It depends on what you mean by fixed. If you want the piece to be exactly like it was before, then no. While you could glue the pieces back together, there would still be cracks, and it would look really bad and well, you don't want to do that. However, if you can find someone skilled at lapidary, they might be able to recut the pieces and make a new piece of jewelry. Contact a local jeweler (not one of those chain places)and see if they do lapidary. If they don't (which is pretty likely) see if they can recommend someone.
