Are swarovski crystals real?
I ordered the original bella bracelet from mybellabracelet.com and it said that it has a genuine swarovski crystal. And I was wondering if it was real? because one of my friends said it was, but someone online said that they weren't
I checked their website and they due indeed state genuine "Swarovski" crystals. I would hope based on their statement of Genuine Swarovski they are using the real thing BUT here is the BIG catch........ it is ALL in who they are buying their "Swarovski" crystals from. This company might think and truly believe they are buying genuine Swarovski and therefore have put the statement on their website but in reality it is NOT genuine. WHY?????
If they are a large company and buying right from Swarovski (see further definition below).........YES, definitely you have the real thing. But if they are buying their so called "Swarovski" online or at different trade shows or from small/midsize vendors.... your guess is as good as mine in if it is real or not because there exist so many people selling crystals produced in China as GENUINE Swarovski and it is definitely NOT real.
The problem with the amount of fake so called "Swarovski" is
sooo bad that Swarovski, the company, had to change all their packaging again when they just changed it a few years ago.
Personally, I would contact the bracelet company and ask them where they BUY their Swarovski from................ Their answer will give you a better idea of whether it is genuine or not. Also, if this bracelet company is based in North America and they tell you they buy directly from Swarovski in Austria they are totally full of it. No company making bracelets in North America can buy their Swarovski right from Austria. The company must go through the Swarovski authorized North America reps.
