"Ghetto Fab"?
I hate to use those words but it kinda describes whats up. i grew up in the ghetto in B-more, and I would def consider myself ghetto-weave, huge earrings and all. The problem is, is my fiancee hates it. He grew up in a suburb and thinks that my look is trashy. He hates all of my shirts w/brand names on it, my big hoops and even my micro braids. We go to a pretty conservative, mostly white college and he wants me to dress to fit in more. How can I tone down my style without losing who I am? I'm lost when I go shopping now. Please Help?
Ok i could see why that maybe a problem for him b/c i wouldnt want a guy with a fake big pony polo and muti colored g-nikes following behind me. This is only my opinon but if he was attracted to you enough to love you and get engaged to you, why does he want you to change now? He should just love you for who you are.
