My big toe might be broken...how long is it going to take to heal?
I was playing soccer and I kicked the ball at the same time this other girl did. We both had swollen big toes after that, but mine turned purple and the nail was half filled with blood. Now it is too big to fit in my shoe, and it hurts HELLA bad.
What should I do for it? I have crutches, but even when I walk and dangle it, the pain shoots up my leg.
Also, how long does a big toe take to heal?
Joe sorry about the toe i know how you feel, I broke both of mine at the same time along while back. Hurts like hell. The doctors can x-ray but they can't do much for a broken toe except some tylenol 3 or another pain killer. They will say put ice on it, stay off it. The swelling will go down in a few days, will hurt to walk for awhile and will heal in or around 6-8 weeks.
Good Luck and try and stay off it for a few days.
