How is the best way to wear a long necklace?
I know this sounds dumb, but I have a few of those pretty long necklaces and I wondered is it better to wear them as one long, single strand, or doubled up in layers? I've seen it both ways- is there a "rule of thumb" of how to wear them with particular outfits? Thanks.
i wouldnt say there is a 'rule of thumb' as its just jewelry for you to mix and match with whatever and enjoy.
its all about personal preference really, how do you like it?
although, with the thicker bigger bead ones, its better to to wear ONE, since one chunky piece is enough,
but with thinner long necklaces (beaded or chained with those pendants at the bottom) you can layer them up..
i prefer wearing these type of necklaces with a top that doesnt have too much going on(lots of patterns/colors/frills) and adds a cute touch to simpler clothes.
o yeah..you can keep doubling those necklaces up and wear as a funky bracelet as well.
its just jewelry so be imaginative, and have fun =)
